The Illusionist by director Neil Burger is a 2006 film set in Vienna, about a great magician named Eisenheim. Told by the city’s investigator’s point of view, he recalls the time when Eisenheim, after many years apart, meet again his childhood love, the Duchess von Teschen, who is now engaged to the Crown Prince Leopold.
